Today, I subscribed to the BlogLines RSS newsreader and feed organizer. This is a great technology, but I think it has the potential to be overwhelming. Sure, I'd love to subscribe to tons of feeds and blogs, but I don't think I'd ever get around to reading half the articles!
So, I subscribed to Washington Post book reviews, iTunes top 25 songs, and CNN.com - all of these were found on the Bloglines site. In addition, I added a feed from the Bloodhorse site, for horse racing news, and subscribed to several blogs created by some of my co-workers here at CN.
I have used Technorati before and have found many interesting blogs using it. For instance, when the new Harry Potter book was coming out, there were numerous blogs on what people thought would happen to our guy Harry. The searching is pretty simple and there is a wealth of blogs out there!
I definitely see the benefit of RSS feeds and making it easier for all of us web-goers to organize our news tidbits in a way that is ad-free and seamless.

My blog is coming along since I've had time in the evenings lately to play around. I've added some horse "visuals" to my blog so I hope you'll add my blog to your feeds. The Tin Man is racing this weekend. He's one of the few older ones racing.
It isn't easy to find RSS feeds to what you really like. I plan to delete a lot of stuff from my blog when I get my MP3.
